Updates to Schedule and T-shirt Monday, October 26, 2009
For all of those that were not able to make it to Bible Study on October 22, 2009, you missed a fun night of fellowship. Because we were missing half of our group, we did not cover the lesson originally schedule. I have updated the master schedule with the correct dates and leaders.

Women’s study Fall 2009-Spring 2010 Sunday, September 20, 2009
Because we enjoyed our study of women in the Bible so much last year, we will be continuing to learn how God’s women of yesterday can speak bolding to God’s women of today. We will be using studies from the book Learning Life Principles from The Women of the Bible: Book One. Let me know if you are interested in leading a study. We will be meeting the second and fourth Thursday of each month with the exceptions to holidays. See the master schedule for dates we will be meeting. This year would have decided to take up a collection for a love offering towards our youth group. With many of us being involved in the youth ministry or parents of the youth, we see first hand what an amazing experience it is for youth to be able to go to the Montreat Youth Conference. We would like to designate the collection as a scholarship to help more youth members experience a week filled with Christ’s love and a chance to get to know Him on a deeper level.
We’re looking forward to a year filled with learning, laughing, and the Lord. See you Thursday!

god squad starts blogging Tuesday, September 9, 2008
At Michelle’s suggestion, we have started a blog for the NKP Women. This will act as our “website” and will be updated as things changes. Of course, we’ll still use the emails, but this will also be an outreach tool for the rest of the church and our friends. It will serve as “home base” for our calendar, etc. as we try and figure out this bi-weekly study thing!
Be sure to look around, and if you want to be a regular poster, go to www.wordpress.com and register a username. Then email me (ktodd@sc.edu) and let me know the details – your username and your email address used to register – and we can add you as a contributor to the blog!
We have also linked to websites of importance or reference on the blog site, so let us know what you want added. We have linked to the NKPY and the Backpackers blogs also, for parents and those interested in easy access to that information. Additionally, if any of our members have blogs we want to link to those, too, so give us the site and we’ll link to your blog. Talk about a one-stop shop!
We hope you’ll visit often and use this as a “home base” or “reference point” for NKP Women in the future!
